One of my favorite quotes,
Man, sometimes it takes you a long time to sound like yourself.”
– Miles Davis
Although Miles was obviously speaking about development as a musician, this is just one of the many parallels I see between musicians and photographers. As a photographer you go through a lot before you finally start shooting with your own voice, your own style. In this episode I want to give you an exercise to hopefully help you be more consciously aware of the things that are important to you in your photography, so that you’re able to focus more and create the kind of art that’s important to you.
